Bio
Nnaemeka is a young technical builder based in Nigeria who received grant funding from Emergent Ventures to establish a phage bank at the Centre for Phage Biology and Therapeutics. He previously led efforts as a lecturer at Plateau State University to isolate and characterize phages, publishing the first phage genome sequenced in Nigeria. Nnaemeka now focuses on developing and scaling phage-based solutions to fight antimicrobial resistance in his country.
