Bio
Julie is a skilled technical professional based in the Boston area, having recently received funding from the Emergent Ventures program to explore solutions for menopause and measuring ovarian aging, before pivoting her focus towards rare diseases. Prior to this, Julie worked on projects in the women's health space and was a data scientist at Loyal for Dogs, where she contributed to the development of statistical simulations for an FDA-approved longevity clinical trial. She holds a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, with additional expertise in NLP for Healthcare, which she pursued through a Master's degree at the Szolovits lab at MIT CSAIL.
