Rebecca Wang, based in San Francisco, USA, is a young technical builder who has received funding for her work on an AI-first school safety device, aimed at enhancing response times in emergencies. She has previously co-created a patent-pending AI device to reduce response times in school shootings, collaborating with friends to develop a system that provides real-time maps of gunfire locations. Rebecca is also the founder of Hydra Hacks, a prominent hackathon for marginalized genders, and has been involved in promoting equitable access to STEM opportunities.
