Bio
Richa is a young technical builder based in Toronto, Canada, where she is currently studying electrical engineering with a minor in robotics and mechatronics at the University of Toronto. She was awarded a grant from the Merge Grants program to develop an open-source wearable that enables individuals with severe motor disorders, such as ALS, cerebral palsy, and locked-in syndrome, to communicate using only their tongue movements. In addition to her current project, Richa has also been involved in research on wireless power transfer, showcasing her diverse technical interests and capabilities.",.
